InCar’s expansion continues, with the acquisition of Kajaani. On 8 September the damage and painting services of Automaalaamo Tenkula Oy were transferred to InCar’s ownership.
Automaalaamo Tenkula is a traditional and well known workshop in Kajaani, Finland, since 1975. The company employs 12 damage repair professionals.
Entrepreneur Mika Leinonen started out as an employee of the workshop and then bought the company in 2010. Before the acquisition, Tenkula was part of the InCar Partner network. Mika Leinonen will continue to work for InCar as workshop manager and Kajaani manager.
“This acquisition is a natural continuation of the partner garage cooperation. Kainuu is an important geographical region for us and we wanted to gain a foothold there. Finding a strong local player was a very important step for us in developing our network. In fact, Automaalaamo Tenkula is one of the last large operators of its size in Finland.” says Tommi Vatén, COO of InCar Oy.
“Cooperation with InCar has been smooth and clear over the years. The technical development of damage repair is fast and I wanted my company to have the best possible foundation, where developments such as the latest technologies are guaranteed for the future.” says Mika Leinonen, owner of Automaalaamo Tenkula.
